Terms of Service

The short version

Vitrin Chat is a messaging and calling service. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

Your account

An account is tied to a phone number you control. Keep access to that number and to any devices you sign in on: anyone who has them can read your messages. You must be at least 13 years old, or older where your country requires it.

Usernames

A username is yours for as long as you keep it. If you change or remove it, it stays reserved for you for 7 days, during which you can take it back; after those 7 days anyone may claim it.

What you may not do

Do not use Vitrin Chat to send unlawful content, to harass or threaten people, to impersonate somebody, to send bulk unsolicited messages, or to distribute malware. Do not attempt to break, overload or circumvent the security of the service.

Your content

What you write and send stays yours. You give us only the permission we need to carry it: to store it long enough to deliver it, to show it to the people you sent it to, and to keep it available on your own devices.

Channels and public content

A public channel is public. Anything posted in one can be read, forwarded and reported by anyone. If you run a channel you are responsible for what is published in it.

Moderation

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. Anyone can report a person, a message or a channel from inside the app, and can block someone at the same time — blocking is never disclosed to the person blocked. We review every report within 24 hours: content that breaks these terms is removed, and the account behind it is suspended or deleted. Where we can, we say why, and a suspended account can appeal from the app.

Availability

We work to keep the service running, but we do not promise that it will always be available or free of faults. Features may change or be withdrawn.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using Vitrin Chat and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, you will be told inside the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
